Dumont has over 15 years working in entertainment publicity. He is the co-founder and co-director of the Oscar-Qualifying HollyShorts Film Festival and co-founder of the Mammoth Film Festival. Dumont currently spearheads media relations, publicity and strategic marketing communications campaigns for entertainment industry clients.  

Dumont's clients include Spike Lee, The Netflix Original Series She’s Gotta Have It, Spike Lee’s Black Klansmann (Unit PR), Actor/Director Roger Guenveur Smith (Rodney King), Writer Kerry Williamson, (Netflix’s What Happened to Monday), Buffalo 8 Productions (Rodney King), Bondit Media Capital, Bronwen Hughes (Netflix’s The Journey Is the Destination) Show runner Adi Hasak and his Adi TV Studios production company (NBC’s Shades of Blue and USA’s Eyewitness), KCET/Rigler Creative’s Emmy nominated series City Walk, Stan Lee’s Kids Universe, Producer Tanner Beard (Terrence Malik’s Voyage of Time, Knight of Cups, Song To Song), Oscar nominated animator Bill Plympton, the BANFF World Media Festival, 1821 Entertainment, Waterstone Entertainment, Klasky Csupo, Shorts International/ShortsHD, Strong Eagle Media (The Hornet’s Nest, Citizen Soldier, Apache Warrior) among others. 

Prior to teaming up with Fabric, Dumont founded Dumont Marketing Group (DMG) a company he led for six years, working with production companies, filmmakers, independent films, comic book publishers, authors and digital entertainment companies. Prior to launching DMG,  Dumont was with Miller PR, where he worked on strategy and counsel for the agency’s premiere clients. Before joining Miller, Dumont was Director of Corporate Communications at MGM Studios. Dumont studied Communications and received his BA from Florida International University in Miami, FL.
